2026 Year End Summary
I started 2026 with a couple of injury setbacks and lost all confidence in my golf swing. I chased distance all year long and never settled in, and I pulled out of multiple tournaments because of injury and a lack of confidence. My tournament scoring was horrendous this year.
The bright spot was the gym. I started personal training four times a week with Lauren at Soteria Fitness and stayed steady with the workouts. My body is significantly stronger, my range of motion has increased, and I'm healthy. I finished the year with new swing feels and new confidence.
Winter Goals
- Gain 20 pounds of mass and increase strength (currently 177 pounds)
- Driver clubhead speed: currently 95 to 100 mph, goal of 110 mph by March
- Tournament scoring average: 76
The Plan
The original plan was a 79 scoring average in 2026, then a focus on strength training through 2027. Since personal training became the main focus this year, next year is game on. We're going to see the greatest amount of improvement from this year to next.
2027 scoring average goal: 76
2028 scoring average goal: 72
I'll keep updating my progress through the fall and winter.
